“Phab” stands for PHysically Disabled & ABle Bodied.
It is a national charity encouraging the integration of people with and without physical disabilities to achieve full inclusion in all aspects of life.
One way it does this is through a nationwide network of Phab Clubs.
Phab was founded in 1957 resulting from a young disabled man, called Terry Rolfe, saying he wanted “Opportunity and not pity”.
Phab’s Patron is Lord Snowdon, Ed Stewart is President and Sir Cliff Richard and Rolf Harris are two of its Vice Presidents.
