Leamington & Warwick PHAB
“Phab” stands for
ysically Disabled &
It is a national charity encouraging the integration of people with and without physical disabilities to achieve full inclusion in all aspects of life.
One way it does this is through a nationwide network of Phab Clubs.
Phab was founded in 1957 resulting from a young disabled man, called Terry Rolfe, saying he wanted “Opportunity and not pity”.
Phab’s Patron is Lord Snowdon. Ed Stewart is President and Sir Cliff Richard is a Vice President.
2007 was Phab’s Golden Jubilee Year and Phab has provided support services to Club members throughout the 50 years.
